Self-regulatory organization of appraisers is a non-profit organization included in the state register of SRO appraisers and uniting appraisers and appraisal organizations on the terms of membership, created to regulate and control professional activities.

The basis for including a non-profit organization in the unified state register of self-regulatory organizations of appraisers is the fulfillment by it of the following conditions:

A compensation fund has been created. Based on the goals set, the following main activities of SRO appraisers:

Development and approval of standards and rules for valuation activities, rules of business and professional ethics, rules and conditions for admission to the SRO members of appraisers. The conditions for membership in a self-regulatory organization of appraisers are also that a member of an SRO has a contract of compulsory liability insurance, that a member of a self-regulatory organization makes contributions established by it, including contributions to the compensation fund of the SRO.
