Conclusion on the Internet good or evil. Is the Internet evil or good? Internet evil or new opportunities

The Internet brings people together. In no era of the development of human civilization was there a means that would so quickly and completely connect people in cities, different countries and even on different continents. From now on, people can find out how users live on the other side of the world with a few mouse clicks. On the Internet, you can view maps, study, communicate, have fun, work. However, all the benefits that this system can offer to its users can be considered in two aspects - positive and negative.

When the internet is good

A global network that provides users with such a variety of resources as the Internet does, of course, can be considered a great boon. Today, with the help of the Internet, people not only search and find information of interest to them all over the world, but can also use hundreds of different ways to use the Internet in life. This is the performance of work at a distance, and educational goals, and communication, and entertainment, and science. A huge number of sites appear every day, covering the needs of a person for information in all spheres of life. With the help of a small device - a laptop, netbook or cell phone, a person can get answers to almost all questions. From now on, there is no need to stand in lines at bookstores, write letters that take weeks to reach the addressee, even visit the office, school, university, if you don’t want to.

So many websites, videos, pictures, texts have been created on the Internet, so many scanned literature of past centuries, secret and open documents are posted on it, and many resources offer communication with so many people from anywhere in the world that the current generation can really be considered the most free of all existing.

When the internet is evil

However, despite all the advantages of using the Internet, people remain people, which means that they have not only good qualities. Therefore, along with good content, a lot of disgusting things appear on the Internet: sites that call for violence and cruelty, dissemination of information about intolerance or racism, incitement to crime, violence against a person, immoral materials, and disrespect towards other people. Perhaps it would be more interesting to know that this is not on the Internet at all than to understand that such content is available there. The Internet only reflects what already exists in society, is inherent in human nature and what people have not yet been able to get rid of.

There is another negative side of using the Internet: it contains so many attractive and interesting things for a person that sometimes people forget about real life, become addicted to the Internet, and spend all their free time in it. Such situations, of course, need to be monitored for yourself, friends and acquaintances. No matter how interesting the people on the virtual site are, and no matter how busy you are with other sources of information, it is important to remember that real loved ones are much more important, and life is more interesting and eventful if it takes place not only in front of the monitor screen.

Not so long ago, the concept of the Internet appeared. And, in my opinion, such a rapid introduction of this information resource into everyday life is not surprising. After all, it is thanks to him that people have the opportunity, without leaving their homes, without resorting to the use of various kinds of literature, to find the necessary information on almost any issue. However, nothing can be perfect, so it would be logical to say that in addition to pluses, the network has its drawbacks. So what is the Internet? Benefit or harm? Good or evil? Let's reason.

What has changed since the advent of the Internet? Firstly, people have the opportunity to communicate, transfer information to each other, being at a long distance, in a matter of seconds. At the same time, using not only text, but also various images, video and audio recordings. That is, nowadays there is no great need to gather a group of scientists in a certain place of a certain state to resolve any issue, since a scientific conference can also be held via the Internet via video link.

Secondly, the purchase of any product that is not available in your locality is no longer a problem. If earlier you had to go to another city or ask a friend from another country to buy this or that product, now there are various types of online stores that, in addition to the things you need, provide the service of delivering them directly to your apartment. The Internet is becoming another source of income, a place to earn money. Online jobs are emerging.

However, the Internet also has its downsides. In it, you can encounter various kinds of violence, which is proved by photographs, videos of similar content, cruelty, calls for suicide and other negative things that can lead to irreversible consequences. Due to the appearance of the network, a person becomes limited, as the need for knowledge fades into the background. Literally in one "click" you can find information about any object that interests you, however, with this activity, brain activity is practically reduced to zero, which is why memory deteriorates over time. Skills and abilities are gradually forgotten, which provokes low productivity. As a result, people can come to the Degradation terminal station, from where it will be quite difficult or even unrealistic to get out.

In conclusion, I can affirmatively state that it is impossible to unambiguously say that there is an Internet. On the one hand, this is a thing due to which the world and science develop, and on the other hand, because of which humanity is degrading.

In 1969, the ARPAnet computer network was created in the United States, uniting the computer centers of the Department of Defense and a number of academic organizations. This network was intended for a narrow purpose: mainly to learn how to communicate in the event of a nuclear attack and to help researchers exchange information. As this network grew, many other networks were created and developed. Even before the advent of the era of personal computers, the creators of ARPAnet began to develop the Internetting Project ("Networking Project"). The success of this project led to the following results. First, the largest internet network in the United States (with a lowercase i) was created. Secondly, various options for the interaction of this network with a number of other US networks were tested. This created the prerequisites for the successful integration of many networks into a single global network. Such a "network of networks" is now commonly referred to as the Internet (in domestic publications, the Russian spelling Internet is also widely used).

The Internet is a global computer network that unites many local, regional and corporate networks and includes tens of millions of computers. The basis, "framework" of the Internet is more than one hundred million servers permanently connected to the network.

The first revolution was associated with the invention of writing, which led to a gigantic qualitative and quantitative leap in information exchange. It became possible to transfer knowledge from generation to generation. In the middle of the 16th century, the second information revolution was caused by the invention of printing, which radically changed human society, culture, and the organization of activities. The third (the end of the 19th century) was due to the invention of electricity, as a result of which the telegraph, telephone, and radio appeared, which made it possible to quickly transmit and accumulate information in any volume.

Purpose of the lesson:

    development of creative and intellectual abilities, culture of speech and communication skills of students;

    encourage students to look at the global computer network Internet from different angles;

    education of information culture, respect for the opponent, the ability to adequately argue, perseverance, resourcefulness, the ability to work in a team;

    obtaining collective skills and organizing the creative process;

    aactivation of research, cognitive activity of students: it is necessary to show children the best features of the Internet, its positive and negative sides.

A task: prevention of the abuse of being in virtuality and the development of means out of the situation.

Class hour progress

    Fundamental question :

Where is the line between good and evil on the Internet?

Problematic issues :

    Computerization of the future - good or evil?

    Internet addiction of a teenager is a problem of society. How to resolve it?

    Computer and man: who wins!?

Already on these questions it is clear that the Internet is a two-valued thing.

Disputes about the dangers and benefits of a computer are being conducted at all social levels, scientists are conducting research on the impact of computer games on a person, children argue with their parents, parents with teachers, and so on. And there is no definitive answer yet. But we can't do without it.Teenagers rush headlong into this whirlpool, having different motivations for finding information, entertainment, communication and much more ... And you begin to understand your dependence on the computer. This is where the question arises: what is the Internet - friend or foe, universal good or evil?

One of the disadvantages of the Internet is human cyber addiction, but are you addicted to the Internet? I offer you a test to identify addiction to the Internet. I hope it doesn't show you any addiction, that the Internet is great.

- What is the Internet? When did ?

(Student messages)

Internet - is the unification of computers around the world into a single information network.

1969…XX century… As soon as they did not call the XX century: both space and nuclear, and at the end, the main achievement of the century was recognized not as the exploration of space and the atom, but the Internet. Humanity has a fantastic ability in the field of communications.

In 1969, four US university centers: the University of California at Los Angeles, the Stanford Research Center, the University of Utah and the University of California at Santa Barbara were merged into one network. This year is considered the year of the birth of the Internet.

In 1971, the first program for sending e-mail was developed.

In 1973, the network became international, and the first foreign organizations from Great Britain and Norway were connected via a transatlantic telephone cable.

In 1984, the Domain Name System was developed.

In 1989, in Europe, within the walls of the European Council for Nuclear Research, the concept of the World Wide Web was born. It was proposed by the famous British scientist Tim Berners Lee. In 1991, the World Wide Web went public on the Internet.

- What can we do with the Internet?

Receive information, communicate at a distance, purchase various goods, write letters ....

- What do you think, is everything as simple and rosy as it might seem at first glance?

And at the end of the lesson, we will try to answer the question “Internet: global good or evil?”

Today we will try to identify the + and - sides of the Internet, find out how Internet addicted you are, and try to give recommendations so as not to fall into their number.

We will have a mini-project.

Now everyone will be divided into 4 teams (take a piece of paper of one of the colors). Each team will receive their own task, which you will have to defend in 15 minutes.

Within 10-15 minutes you shouldcreate a poster, collage "Benefits (pluses) of the Internet", "Harms (cons) of the Internet", in which express your attitude to the global network, "Memo to parents who cannot get their child out of the Internet" and a caricature of an Internet addicted person. Then the teams will have toprotect your work .

Team assignments:

    On sheet A3, show the advantages of the Internet (GOOD).

    On sheet A3, show the disadvantages (EVIL) of the Internet.

    Make a memo" "Advice to parents who can't get their child off the Internet."

    Cartoon / collage / caricature of an Internet addicted person.

5. Protection of works.

7. So our lesson has come to an end. We have achieved all goals. Show your attitude to the joint work done with your favorite signs. What are these signs?

Emoticons.

8. Today, without leaving your home, you can meet and chat with people who are far beyond our country, purchase various goods, send a letter, photo, and much more. For the first time in the history of Mankind, the worldwide Internet network made it possible to freely exchange any information, without any restrictions (state borders, national and religious interests, etc.).

But the Internet has absorbed not only the virtues of globality, but also global vices. Technological progress cannot be stopped, but it should be remembered that any innovation has its positive and negative sides. And what the Internet will become in your life depends on us…

APPS

Advantages of the Internet :

    Operational search for information;

    Communication without borders in real time;

    Development of intelligence, creative abilities (human

realizes a new reality, creates the world)

    Possibility of distance learning

    Opportunity to meet new people

    Expanding horizons

    The possibility of virtual travel

    Help with studies

    Possibility to "download" free information

    Saving money on mobile communications

    Online games

    Payment of bills

Internet Disadvantages:

    Possibility of false information;

    Substitution of real communication with virtual (without realizing it, a person loses the line between the real and virtual world);

    Internet addiction (a person falls into slavery to a machine, his world moves to the PC world, one of the obvious dangers of the Internet);

    Negatively affects health

    Destroys the psyche

    Takes up all your free time

    Impairs academic performance

    Eats money from the family budget

REMINDER TO PARENTS

    Parents themselves should be able to use a computer at least at an elementary level in order to control the child.

    The child should not play computer games before going to bed.

    Take a break every 20-30 minutes of work.

    Know what games your child is playing.

    The child should not work on the computer for more than 1.5-2 hours.

    You must control the purchase of game discs so that they do not harm the health and psyche of the child.

    If a child uses the computer irresponsibly, a password must be entered to prevent access without parental permission.

All new inventions caused both joy and negative reviews.

The Internet is no exception, people are still divided into two groups, those who cannot live without it and those who consider the World Wide Web to be a place of deception, sheer fraud, pornography, and so on.

Internet good or evil? Everyone has their own answer to this question, but if you take it, in general, most people admire the Internet. Of course, it causes some problems in society, but this technology has many more positive aspects.

Why is the internet evil?

The negative attitude of people develops primarily because of. Who didn’t fall for them, didn’t send SMS, didn’t transfer money, or simply didn’t register on a dishonest site? Everyone has had to deal with this.

Fraudsters openly operate online because they feel impunity. In practice, most crimes on the Internet are never solved.

Another common reason for dissatisfaction is the dependence on the Internet. Basically, adults are written off for this.

They talk about their childhood and watch in horror as teenagers sit online for hours on end.

Some even forget about real life, and on TV they often show programs about such people. The problem is, unfortunately, it is aggravated every day.

They do not like the Internet also because it is now penetrating into all spheres. Society is trying to make life easier, but technology is not perfect.

You have to send passport data, money, other confidential information via the Internet. There is no other option, and people who do not trust face serious problems.

Plus, the Internet has become a real garbage can where you can find anything. It's good that sites with content about suicide, drug preparation and child pornography are now banned. However, there are many other problems.

For example, each child can enter a query and receive several thousand sites of obscene content.

It is possible to partially solve all the problems associated with the Internet, but there will always be people who will not stop speaking out against the global network.

Internet evil or new opportunities?

Each medal has a reverse side, and if it is the Internet, then you can look at it from the other side. This technology has brought many useful tools into our lives and greatly expanded the possibilities.

Skeptics overlook the obvious benefits and there are a lot of them:

The list is endless, the Internet has really opened up a bunch of new and very useful opportunities. One of them is remote work.

Without leaving home, you can consistently receive money. This is useful not only for disabled people and mothers on maternity leave, many people feel comfortable doing work at home.
