Reindeer herder's day

Every year on the last weekend of March in northern cities such as Noyabrsk, Surgut, Salekhard, the Day of the Peoples of the North is celebrated. The locals call it Reindeer Herders Day. The native inhabitants of Western Siberia, the Khanty, come to the city. They arrive on reindeer, bring fresh fish caught the other day, scatter tents and lay tables.

Chum is a conical hut built of tree branches and covered with reindeer skin, in which the Khanty spend most of their nomadic life in the tundra, far from the city.

We visited this holiday and learned a lot about this amazing people.
From the very morning, crowds of people were found in the city square, wishing to buy fresh fish. The Khanty sell it from trucks. Muksun, pike, shchekur, vendace are local fish species that can be purchased here. The fish from our supermarkets is no match for this one. We arrived very early and managed to buy smoked whitefish. (Now I doubt that I will buy fish in the supermarket).

From the very morning, unusual music and songs of indigenous peoples are heard on the main stage of the square - an unusually drawn-out melody using original musical instruments.

Deer graze not far from the center of the celebration. For 400 rubles, everyone can make several circles around the square on a sleigh with deer, pet them and take a picture. Children are delighted with such entertainment. Our Earring for sure.

The hosts of the tents spread around the perimeter are also glad to see guests and their wallets. For 500 rubles, any resident of the city can plunge into the atmosphere of this dwelling: sit at the table, take refreshments from the owners and chat with them.

It is difficult to resist the desire to see how these people live far away in the tundra, among the snow. We didn't hold back either.

Once inside, you find yourself in twilight, the lighting is the light from a small stove, which is located in the center. Not far from the entrance is a table with dishes specially prepared for guests. We sat down on the soft carpet without taking off our shoes. We were treated by a young woman - Aigul, in bright red clothes with embroidered northern symbols. After fish soup poured into a disposable cup, we tasted fresh fish. In the literal sense - freshly frozen fish, from which thin pieces are cut off and placed on a plate. It's called stroganina. Unusual but delicious. We drink tea, a bite of cranberries with sugar.

During the meal, we talked with Aigul and asked questions that interested us:

- Tell me, do you constantly live in the tundra in such plagues?
“Yes,” she replied.

— We graze our deer, we sew clothes, we bring up children. The husband is engaged in hunting and fishing.
Is it difficult to live like this, far from civilization?
- No, we are used to it, we have been living like this since childhood. In addition, now we have a snowmobile, on which the husband can go to the city to sell fish or exchange it for other goods. For the same gasoline, for example. We are much more modern now than we were 20 years ago.

In the afternoon, on the street, at impromptu tables, they ate shish kebab, which was cooked in front of us. A special northern romance was that while we were eating our meat, snow got into the plate - barely noticeable snowflakes that were blown by the wind.

In memory of this day, we bought a souvenir that reflects the essence of this holiday: fridge magnets with the image of a lonely standing plague in the middle of the tundra, figures of deer and their owners - the guardians of the north - the Khanty.

Competitions included national wrestling, stick pulling and speed jumping over sleds. Sledges are narrow sledges harnessed to reindeer. The essence of the competition is to jump over 20 sleds lined up in a row as quickly as possible. Very interesting and not as easy as it might seem. At least the volunteers from the city dwellers who volunteered to participate in these jumps had a hard time. They could only jump over 3 or 4 sledges, while the reindeer herders jumped over them without even breaking a sweat.

In the evening at 18:00 there was an awards ceremony for the winners of the competition. All the worthy received an award - medals, cups and applause.

On this pleasant note, our journey into the wonderful world of the northern people ended. Let it be a little, but all of us (present) have touched this life - full of romance and adventure in our opinion, but ordinary and everyday for them - reindeer herders.

The style of report writing may vary depending on the nature of the event. This can be a light description of the youthful atmosphere: “09:30. If the event is more formal, it is necessary to withstand officialdom: “The evening was opened by the head of the organization. How to write a problem report?

This view is also called analytical. In his work on a problematic report, the journalist first of all asks the question not “What?”, but “Why?” The basic is the search for the causes of certain social problems, unrest.

To write a problematic report, you first need to understand all the components of the situation. Place, time, participants, chronology of events. Have similar stories happened before? Are there any statistics on this issue?

When the base is collected, you can start writing an article. A problem report is an example of journalistic material with mixed genre elements. The author actively uses sketches, factual information, expresses his opinion and gives his own forecasts of further events.

What is the structure of such a report in the newspaper? An example of an article plan: thesis (description of the situation and posing a problematic issue), arguments (the author explains the reasons for the issue of discussion, gives an interpretation of the facts, compares similar phenomena), conclusion (the result of understanding all the facts, assessing the level of their significance, designating his position).

How to write a thematically informative report?

This journalistic material is divided into two subspecies: special and investigation. The first one requires the journalist to disclose a topical issue. You need to make sure that the chosen topic can really be classified as “special”. At the heart of the second is the process of obtaining information directly. Thematic reportage is an example of how a journalist can expand the horizons of his reader.

To create such material, the first thing to do is to decide on the sphere of social life that will be covered. Then choose an aspect in it that can cause resonance.

Particular attention should be paid to the way information is presented: active dialogues, constant movement and bright details will keep readers in a constant tone.

Often, in order to better understand what is happening, the authors temporarily change their profession and fully integrate into the process being studied. Such a thematically informative reportage is an example of a complete reincarnation of a journalist. The level of difficulty in this case increases several times.

How to write an up-to-date report?

First you need to understand what falls under the key category of this concept? Relevance - the significance of something in the current situation. Based on the definition, such a report covers events “on the topic of the day” that occurred the evening before or directly on the day the material was created.

The main thing is efficiency. The author has not yet had time to assess the situation and form his own opinion, but he must highlight what happened.
