1. General Provisions.

1.1. 1.2. The deputy school director for educational work is appointed and dismissed by the school director.
During the period of vacation and temporary disability of the deputy school director for educational work, his duties may be assigned to the deputy director for educational work or a teacher from among the most experienced teachers. Temporary performance of duties in these cases is carried out on the basis of an order from the school director, issued in compliance with the requirements of labor legislation.

1.3. The deputy school director for educational work must have a higher professional education and at least 5 years of work experience in teaching and leadership positions.
1.4. The deputy school director for educational work reports directly to the school director.

2. Functions
The main areas of activity of the deputy school director for educational work are:

3. Job responsibilities
The deputy school director for educational work performs the following job responsibilities:
3.1 organizes current and long-term planning of the activities of the teaching staff;

3.10. ensures the timely preparation of established reporting documentation, monitors the correct and timely maintenance by teachers of class registers and other documentation;
3.11. participates in staffing the school, takes measures to maintain the student population;
3.12. monitors students' compliance with the Rules for Students;
3.13. participates in the selection and placement of teaching staff, organizes the improvement of their qualifications and professional skills, manages the work of methodological associations, improves their qualifications;
3.14. makes proposals for improving the educational process, participates in the work of the school’s pedagogical council;
3.15. takes part in the preparation and certification of teaching and other school employees;
3.16. maintains, signs and submits to the director the time sheet for the teachers and teaching support staff directly subordinate to him;
3.17.takes measures to equip classrooms with modern equipment, visual aids and technical teaching aids, replenish the library with educational, methodological and fiction literature, magazines and newspapers;
3.18. organizes work to comply with labor safety standards and regulations in the educational process;
3.19. ensures control over the safety of equipment, instruments, technical and visual teaching aids used in the educational process;

3.22. on the basis of materials received from the medical institution, compiles lists of persons subject to periodic medical examinations, indicating the factor for which the need for a periodic medical examination has been established;
3.23. organizes the development and periodic revision at least once every 5 years of labor protection instructions, as well as sections of life safety requirements in guidelines for performing practical and laboratory work;
3.24. controls the timely conduct of instruction for students and its registration in the journal;
3.25. together with the deputy director of the school for educational work, determines the methodology and procedure for teaching traffic rules, behavior on water and street, fire safety; carries out testing of students' knowledge;
3.26. carries out, together with the trade union committee (trade committees), administrative and public control over the safety of use, storage of educational instruments and equipment, chemical reagents, visual aids, school furniture. Timely takes measures to confiscate chemical reagents, educational equipment, instruments not provided for in the standard lists, including homemade ones installed in workshops, educational and other premises without the appropriate permit, suspends the educational process on the premises of an educational institution if dangerous conditions are created there health of workers and students;

4. Rights.
The deputy school director for educational work has the right, within his competence:

4.2. bring students to disciplinary liability for actions that disorganize the educational process, in the manner established by the school Charter and the Rules on rewards and penalties;
4.3. be present at any classes conducted with school students (without the right to enter the classroom after the start of classes unless absolutely necessary and to make comments to the teacher during classes;
4.4. make, if necessary, temporary changes to the class schedule, cancel classes, temporarily combine groups and classes for joint classes;

5. Responsibility.
5.1. For non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment without good reason of the Charter and Internal Labor Regulations of the school, other local regulations, legal orders of the school director, official duties established by these instructions, including for failure to use the granted rights, the deputy director of the school for educational work bears disciplinary liability in the manner prescribed by labor legislation.
For gross violation of labor duties, dismissal may be applied as a disciplinary punishment.
5.3. For the use, including one-time use, of educational methods associated with physical and (or) mental violence against the student’s personality, as well as the commission of another immoral act, the deputy director of the school for educational work may be relieved of his position in accordance with labor legislation and Law of the Russian Federation "On Education". Dismissal for this act is not a disciplinary measure.
5.4. For violation of fire safety rules, labor protection, sanitary and hygienic rules for organizing the educational process, the deputy director of the school for educational work is brought to administrative responsibility in the manner and in cases provided for by administrative legislation.
5.5. For culpable infliction of damage to the school or participants in the educational process in connection with the performance (non-performance) of his official duties, the deputy director of the school for educational work bears financial responsibility in the manner and within the limits established by labor and (or) civil legislation.

6. Relationships. Relationships by position.

6.1. works in irregular working hours according to a schedule based on a 40-hour work week and approved by the school director;
6.2. independently plans his work for each academic year and each academic quarter; the work plan is approved by the school director no later than 5 days from the beginning of the planned period;
6.3. submits to the director a written report on his activities of at least 5 typewritten pages within 10 days after the end of each academic quarter;
6.4. receives from the school director information of a regulatory, legal, organizational and methodological nature, gets acquainted with the relevant documents against receipt;
6.5. endorses the orders of the school director on the organization of the educational process;
6.6. systematically exchanges information on issues within its competence with the school’s teaching staff and the deputy director of the school for administrative and economic work.
6.7. acts as the school director during his temporary absence (vacation, illness, etc.). The performance of duties is carried out in accordance with labor legislation and the Charter of the school on the basis of an order from the school director or an order from the head of the municipal education authority, if the corresponding order cannot be issued for objective reasons.
