I began to indignantly ask why in my work experience I still have excursions in languages ​​with foreigners. I couldn’t find anything to answer to this at all. But after the phrase that my resume does not match what. I say, I said goodbye and hung up. In general, I do not advise anyone to go to this center even for a start. Respect yourself.

Pros: I have been working at the YES center for a long time. The salary is satisfactory, and there is an opportunity to improve your qualifications for free and get more. In terms of money it comes out higher than in other Moscow schools. The work is responsible, but interesting; we communicate with children and adults in English in a playful way. You can choose your own work schedule; there are daytime, evening and weekend groups. The center has many partners with bonuses for employees, for example, a pizzeria gives good discounts. It’s hard to complain about the working conditions; there is all the educational equipment in the classrooms and a separate room for our rest and snacks.

What can be improved: At the interview, I was asked to conduct trial lessons for a methodologist without students, and this was very strange for me. They were also asked to take a grammar test. The rate of 500 rubles per academic hour is standard, but I was not given details about employment and was not allowed to familiarize myself with employment contract. Important point: strict dress code. After the interview, it turned out that in fact the school was primarily looking for a teacher for a children's language camp for the summer and was ready to pay 1,000 rubles for 4 hours of work. For me it was very little, so I refused future prospects cooperation. I was also unpleasant that during the interview I was told how to do my job and there was little conversation about the matter.

I like the working conditions and equipment; the company has provided everything necessary for proper work and rest. We have a teacher's room with a kitchen, which has a refrigerator, table, sofa and computer. Therefore, each employee can drink tea with sweets or sandwiches, and also work. Training takes place in groups of no more than seven people, so the teacher’s attention is not scattered and there is an opportunity to clearly explain the material to everyone. Naturally, our work is monitored, an audit is carried out, but this is absolutely not scary, no one yells at you or blames you, they simply point out mistakes and ways to solve them. The company cooperates with many companies, and we receive pleasant bonuses from partners in the form of discounts when purchasing goods or receiving services.

I see no point in cooperating with a company that cannot maintain the simplest everyday dialogue and immediately switches to an elevated, “collector” tone. Also, I sincerely do not understand why Yes courses condone a situation where a person who does not have even the slightest specialization and has grown up only to work in a call center puts himself above a teacher who knows several foreign languages and in general, doing work that is much more difficult and intellectual than cold calling. In the end, let me throw out the phrase that people love to reproach: “You get paid for this.” Dear parents, future students of Yes courses, keep in mind that in fact, the competitive selection of teachers for you in these courses is not carried out by qualified personnel, but by a simple telephone operator.
